Have a great Fall soccer season!

Welcome to the Cedar Splinters Soccer Club (CSSC) website. Founded in 1973, CSSC is a recreational soccer club that invites all K-8th grade girls and boys living within the school boundaries of ebaconline.com.br, Barnes and William Walker Elementary Schools to participate in this year's Fall soccer program.

CSSC offers the following programs:

MICRO: A coed introductory program for K and 1st grade boys and girls.  Teams typically practice once per week, starting in late August and play against other CSSC teams on Saturdays.  Games begin after Labor Day and got through October.

U8-U14: Teams are formed based on age and gender (see age categories to see which age bracket your child fall into).  Teams at this level typically practice twice a week on local fields including Ridgewood Elementary, Barnes Elementary, William Walker Elementary, Cedar Park Middle School and Cedar Hills Recreation

EQUIPMENT

MICRO:  All Micro Soccer players will receive a CSSC T-Shirt.  Shin guards are required and we ask each child to bring a water bottle to practice

U8-U14:  For U8-U14, CSSC provides a uniform (Nike Jersey, Nike Shorts and Socks) for use during the season.  Players are required to have shin guards and are not permitted to wear jewelry at practice or games.  Soccer shoes, a water bottle and an appropriately sized soccer ball are recommended.

Cedar Splinters Soccer Club is a member of the Tualatin Hills Junior Soccer League (THJSL). Both CSSC and THJSL are affiliated with the Oregon Youth Soccer Association (OYSA), the United States Soccer Federation (USSF), and the United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA). CSSC abides by the policies and rules of THJSL and all CSSC teams are conducted in the best interest of the club.

CSSC is committed to promoting a healthy lifestyle through sport, fostering self-esteem and building character. We welcome all players and those wishing to volunteer.
